Learn by playing how to give feedback
A short film shows a typical workplace issue, a colleague of Ines’ doesn’t meet deadlines, and Ines cannot manage the situation. She should take action but doesn’t know how to.
In playing the game, the student decides what Ines should do, and the game looks at the consequences of the student’s decisions on the colleague’s action and the outcome. They win points when they have made good decisions.
The players are given a ranking and win medals when they make excellent business decisions. Additionally there are explanations given around the techniques involved in giving feedback, and various questions to answer, from which they can earn more points.
The game is divided into levels, and new levels open up as the player advances through the learning process.
We combine gaming and story-telling in a unique programme, that allows the student to learn through play until they are competent and confident in managing a feedback conversation.
