KEY IDEAS FROM SYSTEMIC THINKING APPLIED TO ORGANIZATIONS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>What if a company wasn\u2019t just a structure, but a living organism?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From systemic theory, we understand that an organization behaves like a living being: it interacts with its environment, adapts to survive, and thrives only when there is balance among its parts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stability or change?<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every company needs a delicate balance between stability and instability. Without a minimum of order, there is no efficiency. But without some degree of change, there is no innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tip:<\/strong> Notice if your team lives in a \u201ceverything\u2019s fine\u201d bubble or in a \u201cconstant fire-fighting\u201d mode. Both extremes create strain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who serves whom?<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In healthy systems, the parts serve the whole. In companies, this means people and teams serve the organization\u2014not the other way around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Common mistake: Confusing the well-being of one department with the success of the entire company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How do we know if there<\/strong><strong>\u2019<\/strong><strong>s balance?<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When giving and receiving are out of sync (time, recognition, effort\u2026), tensions arise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tip:<\/strong> Ask yourself: Where am I giving too much without receiving? And where am I receiving without truly contributing?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How does the past affect the present?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Companies have memory.
