The organizational chart is on the screen. Someone asks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8220;Who is ready to step into this role?&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Silence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This isn&#8217;t just your company&#8217;s problem. It&#8217;s a sign of changing times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Younger generations have done the math: more pressure, longer hours, greater responsibility, and more isolation&#8230; in exchange for what?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For decades, career advancement was considered the ultimate success story.
